Our chassis have a maximum weight capacity of 67,200 lbs (30,480 kg), which meets standard intermodal transport requirements for most container types.

Do you offer specialized chassis for specific container types?

Yes, our extendable chassis can accommodate 20', 40', and 45' containers, making them ideal for operations with mixed container sizes. We also have standard 40' chassis for dedicated operations.

What safety features do your chassis include?

All chassis feature ABS brakes, LED lighting systems, proper reflectors, and meet DOT safety standards. We conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure all safety systems are operational.

Our facility at 7908 Bonita St, Houston TX 77016 is strategically located 15-25 minutes from major Port of Houston terminals including Barbours Cut, Bayport, and Gulf Coast Container terminals.

What are the best routes to access your facility from the port?

We're easily accessible via I-610, I-10, US-59, and US-90. Our team can provide optimized routes based on current traffic conditions and your specific port terminal location.

Do you offer pickup and delivery services to port terminals?

Currently, we offer pickup and return at our facility. However, we can coordinate with your schedule to minimize wait times and ensure efficient port operations.

What are your facility hours for chassis pickup and return?

Our facility is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, excluding posted holidays. We do not offer extended hours, weekends, or holiday access.

Rental Process & Pricing

What are your chassis rental rates?

Once a carrier is approved, they can see our daily rates in our reservation system. For custom quotes on long-term arrangements, please reach out to our team directly.

Do you offer volume discounts for multiple chassis rentals?

Yes, we provide volume discounts for customers renting multiple chassis or committing to longer-term contracts. Contact our team to discuss your specific requirements and pricing options.

What is included in the rental price?

Our rental price includes the chassis, basic maintenance, and standard support during our operating hours. Additional services like emergency delivery or specialized maintenance may incur additional charges.

Do you require deposits or insurance for chassis rentals?

We require a security deposit and proof of appropriate insurance coverage. Specific requirements depend on rental duration and chassis type. Our team will provide detailed information during the rental process.

Port Operations & Support

What are your chassis availability hours?

Our chassis are available Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, excluding posted holidays. We recommend planning your port operations within these hours for optimal service.

How do you handle emergency chassis needs during port operations?

We maintain emergency chassis inventory and can accommodate urgent requests. Our team coordinates closely with port operations to ensure minimal disruption to your schedule.

What maintenance services do you provide for rented chassis?

We maintain chassis before they leave our facility to ensure they're road-ready. Once a driver has the chassis, maintenance during the rental period is their responsibility. When chassis are returned, our on-staff mechanics repair them to prepare for the next trip. We also perform comprehensive maintenance including inspections, tire replacement, brake service, and lighting system maintenance.

Do you offer training on chassis operation and safety?

Yes, we provide basic safety training and operational guidelines for chassis use. We can also coordinate with your team on specific port operation requirements and best practices.

Compliance & Safety

What safety and compliance standards do your chassis meet?

All our chassis meet or exceed Port of Houston Authority standards, UIIA compliance requirements, and DOT safety regulations. We conduct regular inspections and maintenance to ensure operational safety.

How often do you inspect and maintain your chassis?

We conduct pre-trip inspections before each rental and post-trip inspections when chassis are returned. We also perform comprehensive maintenance every 30 days or 3,000 miles, whichever comes first. All maintenance follows manufacturer specifications.

Do you provide documentation for port compliance?

Yes, we provide all necessary documentation including inspection reports, maintenance records, and compliance certificates required for port operations and regulatory compliance.

What happens if a chassis fails inspection during port operations?

Chassis leave our facility in good condition. If a driver damages a chassis (like running over something), they are responsible for repairs. However, we do have a mobile service unit that can provide on-site support throughout the Houston metro area to help minimize port operation disruptions.
